I was still a teenager the first time I tasted Pancake House’s Classic Pan Fried Chicken, courtesy of my brother, who brought me along with his friends to the old Greenbelt Mall. The first time I tasted Pancake House’s Classic Pan Fried Chicken, I immediately fell in love with it. It’s tangy smell and slightly salty flavor will keep you coming back for more.

So far, this is one of the best comfort foods that I’ve tasted. The thick buttery flavored and textured gravy adds a taste like no other. Coupled with a few drops of Knorr seasoning, splash the gravy on your rice and magic, Pancake House’s Pan Fried Chicken is truly a heaven sent lunch meal that you’ll never forget.

This is one of the reasons why I keep coming back to Pancake House.

A few days ago, I got the chance to pass by it’s newly opened SM Sucat branch, and got to see a poster of it’s House Specialty set.

Seeing a piece of Pan Fried Chicken, together with Tacos, one of my favorite Mexican food, and their delectable Spaghetti, I failed to resist my craving. I indulged myself with the set and again, and true enough, Pancake House did an awesome job in combining the three in a single meal.

The Spaghetti was delicious, with its soft but firm noodles, splashed with a sweet and slightly salty sauce, generously served with ground beef and a slice of Garlic bread.

The Taco was awesome with its freshly sliced tomatoes and lettuce, grated cheese and ground beef. Just add a generous amount of Tabasco sauce on the Taco to excite your senses. Believe me, you’ll love it the way that I do.

The Iced Tea was too sweet for me. I do suggest that Pancake House, lessen the sugar in it, or perhaps create one that’s a bit light. I’m not diabetic, but I prefer the sweetness a bit controlled for my age.

Priced just right, if you plan to lavish on a feast that you deserve, visit any Pancake House, and treat your self with the House Specialty set.

Four (4) out of five (5) stars for me!
